ORCHARD WEDDING EDITORIAL // NIAGARA WEDDING INSPIRATION
By keeping things effortless and natural while infusing a few modern and glam elements, this editorial is the definition of romance. Lucy Tran Photography beautifully captured the day, telling our story of a couple in love on their wedding day at Gracewood Estates in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
We stuck to shades of off-white and blush to compliment our lush green surroundings and used pops of apricot and mauve to add a modern vibe to this wedding inspiration. The table looked so romantic with the orchard in the distance, and featured a creamy oatmeal linen, blush chiffon runner and rattan back chairs which provided a natural addition to the scenery. The gold cutlery, crystal stemware and scalloped edge plates were the perfect touch of femininity, with on-trend flowing greenery and florals expertly crafted by Plush Flowers completing the tablescape.
The romantic and classic wedding gown by Catherine Langlois featured a full A-line skirt with multiple layers of organza balanced by a modern edged bodice in French sequin fabric, with the groom in a royal blue suit. The bride’s loose, airy up-do by Styled By Nadia looked elegant and effortless; when paired with the gorgeous crystal hairpiece by Laura Jayne Adornments it really added an element of glamour and completed the look. Soft, natural makeup by Love Me Makeup was oh so pretty and highlighted the bride’s gorgeous features.
The invitation suite by Pink Peony Press featured raw edge paper with elegant calligraphy and stuck to the natural colour combination of off-white, blush and green. Jenla Cake made a stunning trio of cakes, with one even mimicking the texture of the raw edge paper from the invitations and stationery. The day was perfect – our models connected and looked like a real couple in love, the weather held out and we achieved a timeless and classic look with some surprise glam and modern elements.
