LOVE DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE: LUANA + KEON // G3 DESIGNS PHOTOGRAPHY

This time last year we were getting to know Luana + Keon story, and we’re so thankful they shared their love story and Black History insights with us!

Luana and Keon have been dating for four years now after meeting through work. In 2017 Keon popped the question while on a trip to Montreal at the beautiful Mount Royal. With breathtaking views of the city as their witness, Luana said “yes”!

Important conversations have been happening surrounding Black Lives Matter and now with Black History Month on the horizon, we want to offer additional light and education to our readers. Of these conversations is there a specific dialogue that is most important to you? I think it is important to bring light to the discussion and promote awareness of racial inequality. Especially, when it comes to the relationship between the black community and the state apparatus.

What would you like to communicate to this platform as we continue our conversations about black history month and interracial marriages? We believe in love, and love does not discriminate. When it comes to interracial marriages it allows you the chance to learn about different backgrounds. We consider our relationship so unique, we have the opportunity to learn about each other’s countries, culture, and language. It's important to keep an open mind to eliminate some barriers that may occur.
