VENDOR SPOTLIGHT // LOVE ALWAYS PHOTOGRAPHY
Super sweet husband + wife team Sarah and Justin of Love Always Photography are sharing why “they’ve come to develop a unique ‘his’ and ‘her’ approach to wedding photography. They tell your story with empathy, through an appreciation and understanding for your journey, and from both ‘his’ and ‘her’ perspective.” Hello, friends!
A short description of what you do: We are Sarah & Justin Morabito, a husband and wife photography team documenting life and all its wonderful milestones and moments. Through an appreciation and understanding for your journey, we document your moments from both a 'his' and 'her' perspective.
How long have you been working in the wedding industry? 7 years.
What makes your business unique? We always become friends with our clients, we aim to make being photographed feel very casual and fun! On a wedding day we want our couples to feel like they're just hanging out with friends. This is what helps us to capture genuine moments, candid laughter or a quick kiss when nobody was looking. Keeping photography fun and making our clients comfortable is always a priority.
Favourite part of your business? Working together! We really lean into each others strengths and weaknesses, and have a lot of fun together. Not many people can say they have the perfect colleague but we can and we really value that. Storytelling is another big part of our business that we love. We always take photos with the story in mind. We want photos that when printed and framed or bound into an album tell the story of that day and will take you back.
What inspires you? We are inspired by the Niagara Region itself, the many beautiful backdrops it offers us year round and the sense of community we have in our industry. There are so many talented vendors in this industry that always keep our instagram feed full of inspiring work, new trends and timeless aesthetics. We enjoy drawing inspiration from other photographers such as Vivian Meier, Annie Leibovitz, Jose Villa, Elizabeth Messina, Steve McCurry and Alison Wright.
Who is your mentor/hero in the industry? (your own industry or the Niagara wedding industry) We have been so fortunate to be mentored and coached by photographers who believe in sharing their knowledge and building those up around them. Throughout our time in this industry we have learned from and been inspired by Bryan Caporicci, Robert Nowell, Eva Derrick and Nataschia Wielink, to name a few.
On your day off...where would we find you? Usually at home with our cat Buddy binge watching our favourite TV shows or out with family and friends. We both come from big families and enjoy family dinners and spending time with our siblings. We also are fortunate to have a great circle of close friends that always keep so much fun and spontaneity in our life. We love spending time with them at local winery and brewery events, eating Mexican food and attending concerts.
If you weren't a wedding vendor, what would be your dream job? It's hard to imagine not being apart of the wedding or photography industry. If he couldn’t be a wedding photographer, Justin would be a Graphic Designer. He’s always enjoyed creating and designing logos and graphics, so much so that he has a diploma in Graphic Design. I have always really loved reading. I would have loved to be an editor living in a big city working for a top publisher.
Do you have any practical advice for couples planning a wedding? We actually created a short guide with our favourite tips and tricks for wedding planning as it relates to your wedding photography. A copy can be downloaded from a link on our website. Ultimately though, stay true to yourselves and what you envision to be your perfect wedding day. Have fun with planning and always leave time for just the two of you on the wedding day to stand back and take it all in.
