In today's Swish List vendor spotlight we're getting to know Ambeth of Bespoke Beauty a little more. She is a calm, softspoken, creative soul -- the perfect combination of qualities you want around on your wedding day.
A short description of what you do: Bespoke Beauty are artists in the celebrity, editorial and bridal industry providing beauty services for destination or local weddings and events. As artists we curate beauty by enhancing naturally.
How long have you been working in the wedding industry? 17 years.
What makes your business unique? Bespoke Beauty is a boutique style Curated Beauty Service. All of our artists are contract with early backgrounds or currently working in the celebrity/ fashion Industry.
Favourite part of your business? Meeting new and interesting people which can often grow into wonderful relationships. Also getting to share in those most special moments that most people would never see.
What inspires you? Beauty, Love, Art, and Travel.
Who is your mentor/hero in the industry (your own industry or the Niagara wedding industry)? The late Kevyn Aucoin will always and forever be my hero. He was who inspired my love for makeup and the human connections you can make while living your passion.
On your day off...where would we find you? Practicing Yoga, Drinking wine of course and hanging out with my 4 year old Abbylove and husband Steve.
If you weren't a wedding vendor, what would be your dream job? Celebrity Interior Designer/ Consultant. Spiritual Psychologist.
What great wedding trends are you seeing this year? Minimalism. Natural or raw Beauty. Modern Hair jewellery.
Do you have any practical advice for couples planning a wedding? Splurge a little when it comes to your beauty. It is what you will see captured in your photos forever. It is what dictates your state of mind for the whole day. It is the artist you spend your whole morning with that will present what kind of energy will surround you in those first hours. You want to feel calm, confident and most of all comfortable in your own skin.
