From the Bride: 'Though we both now spend most our time downtown Toronto, we wanted our wedding to be rooted in where we are from and celebrate the life we have created together. St. Thomas church, the vineyard, the jam all involved home. As a kid, I spent many a Sunday up and down those church pews. For their 25th wedding anniversary, my parents chose Inn on the Twenty to celebrate their own marriage. The jam too wasn't just any jam, it wove in contributions from so many important people; rhubarb from my mom's backyard, strawberries grown by one of my bridesmaid's family, and peaches from Niagara – all homemade by our family and bridal party. Our wedding colors chosen from paint swatches we had flipped through for our own apartment walls.'
