From the Bride: 'In planning our wedding, I had a simple vision in mind - that it would be elegant and classic. In particular, I loved the idea of having a vintage wedding. Growing up in Niagara, I knew I wanted to be married in the heart of vineyard country in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake. The venue was simple to determine and the Pillar and Post posed the perfect backdrop for a spring garden wedding, while the vintage touches sprang to life with the red interior bricking. The details seemed to fall in place after this. My dress would be lace, with a long train, paired with a cathedral veil to complete the classic bridal look. The flowers were kept in soft shades of ivory and blush, with accented greens showcasing the boutineires and my hair piece. Everything came together in perfect harmony as we exchanged our vows under the shade of the magnolia tree in the Pillar & Post Rose Garden. The simple beauty of the area provided us just the right setting for our photos. The sun, trees, and serenity of Butler's Barracks proved to be the only location necessary to capture all our memories for the day.'
