From the planner, Lindsay, of LQ Events: ‘This shoot was created to showcase the new event space "Smitten Summerhouse" at a local Beamsville winery, Back 10 Cellars. I was so excited when I visited this space and just knew a beautiful, modern, neutral shoot would suit the modern farmhouse vibe perfectly. This shoot is meant to showcase the modern farmhouse style that so many couples are striving for and to give inspiration for those intimate weddings that are sure to stay on trend for the coming year or two.

Many couples are choosing to embrace the intimate wedding trend that has been forced upon us and they appreciate being able to put their budget into the decor and details to create something extraordinary for their small guestlist. This shoot was created to inspire those couples who are committing to an intimate wedding to celebrate their love in the current climate.

We wanted to show couples that a small wedding can indeed have a big impact and this setting, amongst the grape vines, is perfect to inspire those modern couples who are ready to tie the knot now! On top of this, we took the opportunity to show couples how one subtle change to their decor can drastically change the vibe. We started with a more classic, bridal look using all white on our tables and then swapped out our tapers to black to create something a bit edgier that played with the black accents of the space.’
