"Vineyard bride was the first place I visited when I began planning our wedding last August. The style and inspiration was exactly what Derek and I wanted and needed for our wedding. I immediately purchased tickets to the fall "The First Look" show and went with my mother and mother-in-law. Every detail was curated beautifully and the list of vendors helped make wedding planning easy. I knew I wanted to plan our own wedding for years, and with your help it became a reality."

"Before making any decisions, Derek and I first discussed the feeling we wanted to experience on our wedding day, and our immediate response was that we wanted it to feel like 'home'. We grew up in Niagara and have since moved to Toronto, so home for us meant an outdoor venue with mature trees, grape vines, and orchards -- a space where our guests could move freely from inside to outside throughout the evening. We also wanted our wedding reception meal to feel like a family dinner - a tight space with harvest tables, lit by candlelight and a beautiful hum of voices and laughter.
With this vision in mind, we found Honsberger Estate Winery. A beautiful estate property with a farm-to-table promise, surrounded by peach orchards, rolling grape vines, and acres of wheat fields. The rustic-romantic theme of our wedding was achieved by taking the natural beauty of the property and buildings (both the estate home and the barn) and sprinkling in decor of lush greenery, white garden roses, flowing ivory fabrics, golden votives and candlelight. Our colours were very natural - green, ivory with golden touches throughout -- the bridesmaid wore blush dresses chosen each individually while complimenting each other and the groomsmen wore navy suits."
