Today’s feature is the perfect example of how using the season the event falls in as inspiration can create a stunning effect with a simplistic look: you really don’t need to go over the top to make magic!

“For this rehearsal dinner we wanted a relaxed setting but for it to still feel special and wonderful for guests as a lead to the wedding. Appropriate to the season, we planned a luxurious fall picnic for our families and out-of-town guests. Our family's rural home garages were converted to a fabulous event space, the room draped and carpeted in warm cream tones with accents of plaid. The tables were set with striking beige buffalo print linens and the centerpieces were simple bushels of apples from a local orchard, The Carlisle Cider Co. Table settings were finished with dishes by Canadian watercolour artist, Niki Kingsmill.

This was a fabulous event and unique to how rehearsal dinners are traditionally executed as we elevated the space with simple details and made it a combination of a welcome party for out-of-town guests paired with a comfortable setting for our family and friends to share laughs and stories as we led into the wedding rush.” - Lindsay Fast of Special Event Rentals
