KRISTINE MARIE PHOTOGRAPHY // VENDOR SPOTLIGHT
Today, we are really excited to go behind the scenes and share a spotlight feature with our Swish List member, Kristine Marie Photography. Kristine is a creative and passionate Niagara wedding photographer who loves to capture the beauty of life. With 10 years of experience, she strives to create timeless images that will last for generations. She takes the time to get to know you so that your personality shines through your photos. Understanding your story helps her create more meaningful images for you — something you can treasure forever.
A short description of what you do: I specialize in capturing your wedding photos beautifully and timelessly, with a light and airy look. We will capture all the moments of your wedding day from getting ready details to the party on the dance floor at the end of the night, for you to cherish for years to come.
How long have you been working in the wedding industry? I have been photographing weddings for over 10 years now!
What makes your business unique? I offer a more personalized and customized experience. I take the time to understand your preferences, style, and the story you want to tell through your wedding photos. This ensures that your photos truly reflect your unique love story. It is important to capture not only the big moments but also the small, intimate moments that others may miss. And then I will work with you to create beautiful heirloom artwork to display your photos.
Favourite part of your business? Getting to spend the best day of peoples lives with them and then giving the gift of reliving that day over and over again afterwards.
What inspires you? The idea of creating beautiful masterpieces that will be passed on from generation to generation. I am creating something that will last you forever.
Who is your mentor/hero in the industry? (your own industry or the Niagara wedding industry) Honestly, I feel like I can’t name just one person! I love so many of the women running successful businesses in this industry, all around but specifically in Niagara.
On your day off...where would we find you? Probably the dance studio or cheer gym cheering on my girls doing their thing! Or in the summer it would be poolside enjoying the sunshine.
If you weren't a wedding vendor, what would be your dream job? Probably interior designer! I love planning and designing home renovations!
What great wedding trends are you seeing this year? Reception dresses! I love a dress swap for the reception, maybe something a bit more glitzy and more comfy for dancing the night away!
Do you have any practical advice for couples planning a wedding? Set aside time away from your guests just the two of you! I like to steal you away for some sunset photos, so maybe extend that time and enjoy eachother in the midst of your wedding chaos. The day goes by so fast, make sure you are slowing down and taking it all in!
