A combinations of things have lead the wedding trend into the direction of hosting smaller events and gatherings. Less number of guest tables means there’s the chance to really beef up and fill out your guest tables and we are in love with the use of florals as the main focus to sprawl across a tabletop.

Pops of Colour

There is an undeniable quirk that comes along with the use of an unexpected or bold pop of colour. Pink chairs? Blue goblets? Fresh pops of yellow in your florals? Each moment works on its on and as a part of the tablescape.

Stationery

Layering the details of a tabletop is how you create an experience for guests while infusing personality into the event. Take this as a moment to leave a note for each guest, a personalized name card, table numbers, menus, favour tags or handcrafted paper details; the options are endless and the effect is always worth the effort.

Texture

Another way to add layers and dimensions is with the addition of texture. Whether it’s the cut glass of your water goblets or the textiles you bring in, it’s a tactile way to provide your guests with an experience that goes beyond just what they see.

Seasonal

Using the venue as a backdrop is always a smart way to ensure the decor and aesthetic you are after is achieved, however, using the time of year as your main source of inspiration is even more of a reward. We’re into the way tones and texture can create warmth and coziness for fall or a light freshness for spring.
