THE VINEYARD BRIDE GUIDE | BRIDAL STYLING DETAILS

This year we introduced a new series to the blog called The Vineyard Bride Guide, a series that showcases the various components a couple will encounter during their wedding planning process, arming readers with the tools, tips + tricks to ease the stress of maneuvering these details and make the planning journey a joyful one.

With endless inspiration at the fingertips of bride’s planning their big day, we wanted to breakdown some of the styles/trends we see most in our features here on Vineyard Bride. Today we’re chatting about bridal details and how you can collect items for your photographer to style on the wedding day, adding a lovely and personal moment to your wedding day story. Be sure to let us know what resonates most with you!

Lace Veil or Gown

The typically classic white or ivory fabric of your gown or veil provides a neutral backdrop to layer all your details on top of, and serves as a way to feature some of those delicate details that might get lost when the gown is on and photographed from a distance.

Add Stationery

Layering in your stationery or paper details is a smart way of creating texture and showcasing your invitation or your vows. Be sure to bring a copy of your invitation suite on the day of the wedding so your photographer can capture it for you!

Loose Florals

A few loose blooms or sprigs of greenery can help frame and soften your bridal flat lays and is a really sweet way to tie in your floral components from the day!

Heirlooms and Antiques

Plan to have something old with you that day? Bridal details can look lovely when showcasing a mix of old and new, so take this opportunity to tuck in your grandfather’s hankie, an old locket or pocket watch, charms, or ring box.

Neutral Furniture or Bedding

Looking to add a pop of colour or pattern? The base of your bridal detail styling can be anything from the fabric of a nearby couch or chair, to a throw blanket or a rug to add some a bit of fun.
