From the photographers: ‘Sarah and Drew had planned a large wedding with family and friends for May 2021 at Club Roma. As the day got closer they realized that with pandemic restrictions still in place and so much uncertainty around events they would have to change their plans.
They decided to honour their 2021 date with an intimate wedding at the home of their officiant with only their parents and wedding party in attendance. You would never have known this wasn’t their original plan, they were both so happy and excited on the day! You can see the joy in their images.
We documented their ceremony and some portraits afterward before they left to enjoy dinner together. We look forward to documenting their vow renewal and reception next spring with all of their friends and family in attendance but know that these wedding day memories will be cherished always. Smaller and intimate weddings do have something unique to offer. We have seen so many couples choose to embrace a smaller wedding and have noticed that they are so much more laid back on the day and able to enjoy the company of their nearest and dearest.’
