From the photographer: ‘We all know that couples planning their weddings have had to pivot and re-pivot during this past year. It has been incredibly inspiring to see how they have handled the situation and the beautiful intimate celebrations that have resulted from 'Plan B, C and even D's'! Brooke and Matt were no exception.’

From the bride: 'We envisioned a small, simple but elegant wedding at the beautiful Two Sisters Vineyards. We got engaged near the beginning of the pandemic, so we knew that our wedding plans would have to take the situation into account. We planned for a small ceremony and dinner with 40 of our closest friends and family.

During the year, COVID changed what we had planned multiple times. Two Sisters Vineyards did an incredible job accommodating us, making sure we were still able to have the elegant wedding we had envisioned. Literally days before our wedding, Ontario's restrictions changed again and limited our guest count to 10 people including us. We were disappointed that our plans had to change again and so close to the wedding; however, we decided to go ahead and really looked forward to saying, 'I do' in front of our parents and our closest friends (our wedding party).

The most memorable part of the day, other than actually 'getting married', was our first look. We were SO excited to finally see each other after a year of planning for our special day! It was such a genuinely happy moment during the day that we will never forget! Even though it wasn’t the wedding day we had envisioned or planned for, our wedding was definitely a day to remember. '
