GRAPHICALLY YOURS // VENDOR SPOTLIGHT

Today we are really excited to share a spotlight feature with one of our newest Swish List members, Graphically Yours!

A short description of what you do:  Stationery designer creating your dream stationery with a timeless and elegant aesthetic.

How long have you been working in the wedding industry? 8 Years.

What makes your business unique? All of the stationery created by Graphically Yours is one-of-a-kind. There are no templates and each piece is custom designed to fit the needs of each client.

Favourite part of your business? I love to meet new clients and hear all about their story as a couple and to hear all about their vision and style for their big day. I also love that each client has such different design ideas which helps to keep my creative juices flowing and to really challenge me. There's something new everyday and I wouldn't have it any other way!

What inspires you? I am inspired by my surroundings every day. Whether that be in a coffee shop or from a quick trip to my mailbox, I always have my eye on print pieces to spark some new ideas!

Who is your mentor/hero in the industry? To be honest, I don't have one mentor or hero in the wedding industry because I learn so much from so many different vendors! I love how this community is never about competition but rather about support. If I did have to choose one person, I'd say Lindsay Plank Events. Her tablescape designs always give me heart eyes!

On your day off...where would we find you? On my day off, you can find me in my backyard with a good book and a hot cup of tea in hand, or making memories and chasing around my toddler. I love to spend time at the cottage with my husband and daughter, and of course I can't help but make my way to HomeSense or Michael's for a little retail therapy!

If you weren't a wedding vendor, what would be your dream job?  If I weren't a wedding vendor, you would probably find me as a professional organizer... think The Home Edit. I love to organize and label absolutely everything! Being such a sentimental person I'm not so great at the editing/purging phase, but at least it all looks pretty!

What great wedding trends are you seeing this year? This 2022 wedding season, I am seeing a lot of simple, timeless designs when it comes to stationery. Muted colours, lots of greenery and hand torn edges. I am also seeing a lot of couples add wax seals to their designs which is a simple way to add detail and elegance.

Do you have any practical advice for couples planning a wedding?  When it comes to your wedding stationery, it is never to early to start planning and talking with your designer! A lot of people don't realize how long the design process can take, so it's better to get those requests in sooner rather than later! When it comes to planning a wedding in general, enjoy the process because before you know it it'll all be over. Don't be afraid to speak up to your vendors to communicate with them what it is that you're really hoping for when it comes to your wedding!
