Some very wise words from the bride:

‘Clayton and I met in high school and started dating when we were 15 years old. Fast-forward nine years later, we got engaged on top of a mountain in June 2019 and planned our dream wedding for June of 2020. We attended The First Look wedding show in November of 2019 and instantly fell in love with multiple Swish List vendors, including BBBlooms, Sparkle & Twine and Sash & Bustle.

Our plans were thrown to the wind when COVID-19 struck. We quickly rescheduled to October 23, 2020 and took our June vision with us. With the help of our incredible vendors, we transformed it to better suit the fall colours and season; luckily for us, we had summer weather on a fall day. Our wedding was themed around a soft romantic elegance - we wanted colours that were bright, but timeless.

We hope that our wedding can be an inspiration to all couples that have been impacted by COVID-19. While it might not have been the day we originally planned, it was still perfect in every way. Our intimate gathering (thanks to the restrictions) made the day so much more special, as we were surrounded by the purest love from our friends & family, and had so much more pour in from the ones that joined online. Weddings may look completely different these days, but they are still incredibly special and memorable.’
