THE FIRST LOOK 2020

We have all been affected by Covid-19 and this week more than any other, we’re feeling the weight of it at the Vineyard Bride headquarters.

This Sunday, we we should be celebrating our 6th annual wedding show, The First Look. It should be a week of planning, last minute errand running, communicating with our amazing exhibitors, selling tickets, plotting booths, sharing late nights together as a team at the Vineyard Bride headquarters, and, managing the joyful butterflies that come with putting on our beloved show. However, 2020 had other plans for us.

Selecting images from past shows to share with this post brings us back down the road to all the magic that surrounds The First Look. It has become a part of our Niagara wedding industry that we have come to count on each autumn; typically capping off a busy wedding season for all our vendors and welcoming a quieter time of year and the joy of the holidays. It feels so strange not having this date on the calendar.

We’re sad. We’re a little lost. But we have high hopes and a lot of excitement for the future. We have dreams of taking The First Look to a place we have always envisioned for our sweet little wedding show, and if nothing else, 2020 has taught us that anything is possible!
