VENDOR SPOTLIGHT // BETH JACOBS WEDDING + EVENTS
Today we’re sharing some love with a behind the scenes from Beth of Beth Jacobs Weddings + Events!
A short description of what you do: Event Planning & Design.
How long have you been working in the wedding industry? 2 years.
What makes your business unique? We treat each wedding/event like it’s our own. So many of our clients and couples end up staying in touch due to the friendships built through the planning process. It’s never just another event for us. It’s someone’s milestone, and they are treated with the utmost empathy and hard work to do them justice.
Favourite part of your business? Building relationships, being trusted with milestone moments, and getting to bring their Pinterest board to life in the design process!
What inspires you? French countryside, everything interior design, and, English gardens.
Who is your mentor/hero in the industry? Sinclaire & Moore and Joy Proctor.
On your day off...where would we find you? Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, pulling inspiration from nature!
If you weren't a wedding vendor, what would be your dream job? Interior Design!
What great wedding trends are you seeing this year? Right now I’m loving how outdoor events and al fresco dining has become the way of wedding and events to be mask free! It’s my favourite vibe and I would completely be ok if this push stayed around long after Covid-19 bids us farewell. I’m also a very large lover of intimate gatherings. The heartfelt moments I’ve seen and felt in the smaller gatherings we’ve had the pleasure of being part of have touched me in a special way during a time like this. Intimate weddings for the win!
Do you have any practical advice for couples planning a wedding? Start planning early and don’t try to do it alone! Most times, the couples that book us late in the game have tried to manage the process on their own and finally decided they needed help. Allow your process to be guided, and as stress-free as possible so you can enjoy the journey to the aisle, and the day-of too!
