A short description of what you do: Sound Of Harmony provides DJ & MC services that help bring your event to the next level! We make your wedding day memorable and fun for everyone and we work with our couples to help them to create an amazing atmosphere for themselves and their guests.
How long have you been working in the wedding industry? Almost 8 years.
What makes your business unique? We specialize in weddings! When you hire us for your DJ and Master of Ceremony Services, you can relax knowing that your wedding details will be taken care of by organized professionals. We also offer many unique upgrade options to make your wedding stand out from the rest.
Favourite part of your business? Seeing people dancing and the bringing them joy on their special day.
Who is your mentor/hero in the industry? (your own industry or the Niagara wedding industry) Definitely Kelly from Ooh La La Designs! She has a huge heart and always offers great advice!
On your day off...where would we find you? On my days off you can find me at Brasa Niagara doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!
If you weren't a wedding vendor, what would be your dream job? A song creator or perhaps an actor!?
What great wedding trends are you seeing this year? Confetti Cannon's are getting very popular! Also most people are opting for a professional MC for their wedding.
Do you have any practical advice for couples planning a wedding? Yes! Have the ceremony as close to cocktail hour as possible! Having less of a gap will keep your guests energized and will make a positive difference on the dance floor! I've seen ceremony's planned at 12:00 noon and cocktails start at 5:00pm; that can be a long stretch.
